Our Helichrysum Italicum Immortelle planting seeds are collected from natural occurring immortelle found in the wild in Croatia. With each purchase of seeds, you will receive a full instructional booklet with step-by-step instructions with photos to assist you in planting and taking care of your new immortelle seedlings!

1 gram of immortelle planting seeds can produce up to 3,500 individual immortelle seedlings! Approximately 55,000 seedlings can fit onto 1 hectare (depending on the spacing between plants - we discuss this in our planting guide!)

ESSENTIAL OIL YIELDS 

To produce 1 liter of helichrysum italicum immortelle essential oil you need at least 600 kg of raw plant material for steam distillation. For your first year of planting immortelle you can expect to receive 100-200 grams of plant material per immortelle plant and in the third year you can expect to receive sometimes up to 1 kg or more per plant!

Minimum order quantity is 4 grams of planting seeds. 1 gram of seeds is equal to approximately 3,000 - 3,500 seeds.

    I am back ordering more seeds. I ordered immortelle planting seeds from Immortelle Shop about 2 years ago. Great team and very honest owners. They showed me everything how to plant the seeds properly and how to prepare for planting in the field. I haven't had any problems yet with my immortelle and so far can get about 500 grams of dry plant material from each bush. I am hoping next year to get up to 1 kg of flowers from each bush.

    I have been growing immortelle for a long time and these seeds are by far the best variety. Germination was good and they grew large healthy bushes. What I also liked was the instructions that came with the seeds. It is hard to find these kind of instructions on the internet since immortelle farming has always been kept a “secret”.     The seeds SMELL LIKE THE REAL IMMORTELLE, that is how you know this is the real stuff. I ordered seeds from ebay and I swear I got the decorative immortelle that is useless. Be careful when ordering from non reputable sellers. There are two varieties, decorative immortelle and the real stuff that is used for making essential oil. Immortelle Shop has the real stuff!

    I ordered 20 grams of seeds and looks like everything germinated, if you follow instructions step by step you can’t go wrong. The hardest part is when seeds are small and you need to protect from caterpillar, frost, and mold. But later when the seedlings grow they last forever, that’s why it’s called immortelle!

    Hi! I am leaving a review 1 year after planting the seeds. The seedlings have now turned into nice large bushes and I have managed to make oil. They continue growing, I have had no problems because imortelle is so hardy. 🙂Most important thing is to remove the weeds so that the bushes can continue to grow bigger and bigger. No fertilizer needed, all natural and grows beautifully. Thank you !

    I am so happy with my immortelle seeds. I ordered first 1 gram as a trial and now have ordered more than 100 grams of seeds. I own a plantation of immortelle in France and I really believe that the Croatian seeds are by far the best immortelle seeds. They can tolerate extreme heat and drought and also can tolerate snow and frost. I did not have a problem with the germination, it was quick and easy just follow the instructions that were given with the seeds.

    The seeds are very small so be careful when planting because 1 gram can have over 3000 seeds! The seeds germinated in 3 days using a germination mat. Very good % of germination. Now time to transfer to small containers and let it grow!

    Just wanted to leave a review for the seeds, in April 2019 I started planting the seeds from Smilje. If I could only add some pictures of my plantation to show it would be great! 🙂The immortelle bushes are huge now and I can get almost 1 kg of dry plant some bushes. Usually about 500-700 grams from each bush. The oil produced is good quality, and customer service/support is great. Thank you for all your help and answering all of my questions!!!

    Seeds took about 3 days to germinate, very happy with the results. I watered too much and saw in the instructions not to overwater because of mold, so I have cut back on watering. Seeds are still doing good, its important to have good air circulation in the greenhouse. Or if you are doing outside, protect from the sun with a shade net. I am in France so we have moderate temperatures in spring which is great for seedling planting even outdoors.
